    Kjerag and Preikestolen Teambuilding (June 4 – 6)

    In the beginning of June we would like to invite you to one of Norway’s fjord gems, Kjerag and Preikestolen in Lysefjorden. The offer is open for up to 50 employees (including partner) for 20 000 Advantage points per person. Sign up before May 18 for a spectacular experience!

    The boat trip to watch the base jumpers costs 100 NOK per participant, and likewise for the two trial jumps you can sign up for. On Sunday, June 6, you can choose to go home in the afternoon, or go to Preikestolen and go back home a few hours later. The teambuilding depends on the weather and a sufficient amount of participants.

    Mountain plateau Kjerag

    The Kjerag mountain plateau is on the south side of Lysefjorden.

    Kjerag

    Kjerag is a mountain plateau on the south side of Lysefjorden, Ryfylke in Rogaland. In the western part of the plateau lies Kjeragbolten, a rock stuck in a ravine 1000 metres above the fjord. This spot is a well-known and rather spectacular tourist attraction. The hiking trail to Kjerag starts by Øygardstølen, a restaurant 640 metres up from Lysebotn. At a normal speed, the trail takes two hours each way in a steep and hilly terrain. The Kjerage mountain plateau is also a favourite for base jumpers from around the world, and impressive balance stunts are performed by the plateau.

    It will be a memorable trip, where we stay at the Kjerag Lysebotn Fjord & Mountain Resort, and get to see base jumpers throw themselves off the mountain. On Saturday night, there will be a bonfire and several activities, and Sunday we take the boat along the fjord to Forsand. Then, you can choose either to walk to Preikestolen or depart early.

    Friday, June 4

    16:00 Departure from Omega in Ølensvåg.
    21:00 Estimated arrival in Lysebotn, a meal is served when we arrive.

    Saturday, June 5

    09:00 Breakfast.
    10:00 Departure from Lysebotn, we bring some base jumpers to Kjerag.
    17:00 Dinner at Øygardstøl.
    19:00 Teambuilding activities: We take a boat out on the fjord to watch the base jumpers. Those who wish to try, may sign up for jumps in the pengulator (training for base jumping). You sign up, get instructions and get two trial jumps. Additionally, we arrange kayaking, canoing and other sporty activities. The boat trip costs 100 NOK per participant, as do the trial jumps.
    21:00 Barbeque.

    Sunday, June 6

    09:00 Breakfast.
    10:00 Departure from Lysebotn.
    11:30 The trip to Preikestolen starts from the parking area.
    13:30 Dinner at Ryfylke Fjordhotel for those going home early.
    16:00 Arrival at Omega in Ølensvåg for those going home early.
    16:00 Dinner at Preikestolen Fjellstue.
    17:00 Departure from Preikestolen.
    20:00 Arrival at Omega in Ølensvåg.
