As we approach the end of 2025, it is a good time to look back on the year and reflect on what we have achieved together.

I wanted to write a summary that flows easily without going into too much detail, but that proved challenging. A great deal has happened across all our focus areas in 2025, Software, Subsea, and Consulting. Overall, we can look back on a year defined by progress and development.

  • The Group is on track to reach NOK 4.2 billion in revenue in 2025, representing a 5% increase compared with the record year of 2024.

  • The strongest growth driver in 2025 was the Omega 365 Software platform, where SaaS revenues doubled.

  • The largest revenue growth in absolute terms came from Omega Subsea, which increased turnover by 40% to approximately NOK 1 billion.

  • Consulting accounted for the largest share of total revenue and currently has more than 850 consultants on assignment.

Collaboration and culture

Behind the figures and milestones, the most important factor is our people.

  • World-class subsea deliveries, strong project execution, satisfied customers, deep consultant expertise, a modern and scalable technology platform, and successful tenders. I continue to be impressed by the dedication and efforts of our skilled colleagues.

  • In Norway, four major oil and gas projects were completed in 2025: Balder, Johan Castberg, Halten Øst, and FPSO Jotun. Omega played a significant role in all of them, delivering both consulting and software services.

  • The Omega 365 department in Stjørdal was awarded the 2025 Inclusion Award for its work in creating career opportunities within the technology and IT sector for refugees, immigrants, and others through the Lifehack programme.

Innovation, technology, and organization

Before we can harvest, we must invest, and in 2025 our main priority has been to build a solid foundation for future growth.

  • This has included investments in software development.

  • We have also invested in ROVs, subsea equipment, and a remote operations and simulator training centre.

  • In parallel, we have continued to invest in strengthening the organization, ensuring we have the expertise and capacity required across sales, operations, administration, management, and technology development.

  • Software – global collaboration and innovation

  • In 2025, we established a global management team for our software business, with Jan Christian Brataas appointed as Global Software CEO.

  • A special thank you to the Omega 365 Calgary team for hosting the Omega 365 Software Conference in Calgary in September. The conference set a new attendance record, with 60 companies and 180 participants. Microsoft delivered the keynote presentation, and customers shared their experiences and the value they see from using Omega 365. We look forward to welcoming everyone to Oslo next year.

  • During the year, the Board decided to position Omega 365 as the next-generation software platform following Pims. At the same time, 2030 was set as the end date for regular Appframe support.

  • While AI in project management is still at an early stage when it comes to fully agent-driven execution, it is already delivering real value. We now have multiple AI assistants and agents in production, developed using secure models in collaboration with Microsoft and OpenAI.

  • The latest version of planning and portfolio reporting in Omega 365 has been very well received and is becoming an important addition for existing customers.

  • Momentum within the healthcare sector remains strong, both in development projects and operational use.

  • Growth in the pharmaceutical sector continues, with Novo Nordisk as a key customer.

  • We also entered into an important new partnership with AFRY, and Trans Mountain chose to extend its collaboration with us through a new major enterprise agreement – something we are very proud of.

  • Demand from data centre customers is increasing rapidly. Data centres and AI factories are emerging as a new industrial segment, where collaboration with leading technology companies and hyperscalers is becoming increasingly important.

  • Even as the energy transition progresses, oil and gas projects remain critical to maintaining energy security. Increased focus on efficiency, reduced risk, and tighter control of time and cost continues to drive greater system adoption.

  • We are particularly proud of Omega’s contribution to Europe’s largest project, Yggdrasil, where Omega 365 Solutions, Omega 365 Consulting, and Pims R5 play key roles in project execution and completion.

Subsea – strength and execution

  • Omega Subsea has successfully scaled its organization in line with growing activity, strengthening technical teams, the crewing function, and offshore resources.

  • The company has established a highly capable management team, covering all key roles required to further develop the business.

  • The number of ROV systems in operation increased from eight to twelve during 2025, and a further ten systems will be added in 2026.

  • The service offering has expanded significantly, with deliveries now also covering survey services, tooling, and sensors.

  • To support remote operations and improve the efficiency of ROV pilot training, Omega Subsea is now building a combined operations and simulator centre in Bergen.

Consulting – expertise at the forefront

  • Within Consulting, both management and employees ensured that revenue remained at record levels, matching the previous year. This has also strengthened our relative market position compared with competitors.

  • This applies to both Omega 365 Consulting and NSB Energy in Canada.

  • In Norway, total investment levels in the oil and gas sector are expected to decline slightly, from NOK 275 billion in 2025 to NOK 245 billion in 2026. This is somewhat lower than in 2024 (NOK 250 billion) but still above the level seen in 2023 (NOK 215 billion).

  • Outside oil and gas, we are seeing growth in new assignments within industry, data centres, and building projects. Close collaboration between Omega 365 Consulting, Omega 365 Protek, and Omega 365 Solutions continues to provide a clear competitive advantage.

Engineering and architecture – Omega 365 Areal and Omega 365 Protek merge

  • In 2025, Omega 365 Areal and Omega 365 Protek merged to form a strong, integrated environment for in-house engineering, construction management, design, and architecture.

  • The merged company retained the name Omega 365 Protek, building on 30 years of brand heritage from Omega Areal and 30 years from Protek.

A more challenging aspect of 2025 was the need to implement cost reductions. Reduced activity in the Norwegian residential housing market affected Omega 365 Areal, and Omega 365 Design also experienced a decline in assignments, possibly linked to more customers handling certain tasks internally with the support of AI.

My thoughts go to the skilled colleagues we had to part ways with due to the lack of assignments.

With a leaner organization, the companies are now better prepared to adapt to market changes going forward.

Throughout 2025, we continued our collaboration with the Norwegian Refugee Council by donating NOK 50,000 per month as our Christmas contribution. Through this support, we aim to contribute to life-saving humanitarian assistance for those who have lost everything. This is our way of making a difference where it matters most.

As the year comes to a close, I would like to thank all my colleagues at Omega for your dedication and efforts in 2025. I would also like to extend a sincere thank you to our customers and partners for the good cooperation throughout the year.

I wish you and your loved ones a joyful Christmas and a happy New Year.
