What are you most looking forward to in your role as a department manager?

The opportunity to build a strong professional environment and influence the development of projects in the region.

What is important to you when meeting customers and the local market?

Understanding the customers’ needs, delivering high quality, and building long-term relationships.

What values or principles do you want the department to be built on?

Open, Engaged, Generous, Humble, and Solution-oriented are our core values. I believe this encompasses most of what defines us as a department. For me, a culture of sharing is a key factor for better flow in our projects.

How do you want to contribute to collaboration and development internally within the company?

By sharing experiences from my time in the industry, initiating professional meetings, and being a bridge between our departments. Our greatest strength is that we always have "someone who can." If we don’t have the expertise ourselves, it’s just a short step to another department.

Is there anything specific you want to highlight about the projects or the expertise in your department?

We have broad experience, from complex residential projects to smaller assignments like a garage. Large office buildings, industrial projects, and aquaculture. So, you can confidently say we cover a wide range. What probably sets us most apart from others is our extensive experience delivering design services for the oil and gas industry, through large facilities like Kårstø, Mongstad, Aibel, and Aker Solutions, to name a few. What’s especially exciting now is blending these disciplines and delivering services that few others offer. The first I have on my radar is, for example, steel workshop drawings. The construction industry has often outsourced this service to others, outside the firms with design expertise in building structures. Now, we can deliver both, giving our clients a real advantage!
