Department managers from both organizations held their first leadership meeting in Haugesund on August 20. The gathering included leaders, administrators, and key personnel, with the goal of fostering good collaboration and initiating the process step by step.

"It’s easy to have too many changes at once, so we are trying to approach this gradually," explains Trine Halsnes, General Manager of Omega 365 Protek. "Our initial focus is to create a shared cultural understanding and get to know one another better," she adds.

Strategic development toward the future

The merger has already resulted in approximately 20 new employees since the process began.

"We now have five departments ranging from Sauda to Bergen, and it will be crucial to collaborate across offices and build upon the strong professional network they have," says Halsnes.

During the European autumn, Omega 365 Protek will develop strategies to be implemented in 2026. The goal is to establish shared routines, workflows, and structures for the company and its departments.

"We now have a large professional environment and can deliver a broad range of services to our customers. Moving forward, much of the work will involve finding the best ways to utilize the expertise in both organizations," Halsnes adds.

Change, growth, and competence

The collaboration between Omega 365 Protek and Omega 365 Areal unites architects and engineers into a larger professional environment. This partnership provides the foundation for more integrated solutions and innovation in project management, planning, construction, and design. Through systematic strategy development and close collaboration, Omega 365 Protek will be well-positioned for continued growth and development, both locally and nationally.

"The new Omega 365 Protek has ambitions not only to offer more resources and capacity but also to become a stronger player in both the public and private sectors," Halsnes explains. "We are the same people with the same presence and expertise, but now customers can rely on a single entity to handle a broad range of tasks. This merger gives the company increased opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and professional development, as well as the potential for a more unified customer approach moving forward," she concludes.
